Senate Introduces Bill to Amend McCarran-Ferguson Act

Legislation was introduced in the U.S. Senate Dec. 19 to amend the McCarran-Ferguson Act, which would authorize the Federal Trade Commission and the Justice Department to enforce federal antitrust laws against health insurance companies.

Additional Complaint Filed Against Corporate Dental Chain

The WSDA has filed a complaint with the Washington State Department of Health, alleging dental clinics operated by Lone Peak Management Group, LLC (Lone Peak) are engaging in dangerous and deceptive practices.
