June Spotlight: Oral Health Awareness Month, Dental Diversity Month & Pride Month

June is a time to celebrate the many ways dentistry strengthens our communities. During Oral Health Awareness Month, we recognize the vital role dental professionals play in promoting overall health and well-being through prevention, education, and access to quality care.

We also celebrate Dental Diversity Month, which highlights the importance of fostering a profession that reflects the communities we serve. Diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds enrich dentistry, strengthen patient relationships, and help improve oral health outcomes for all.

In addition, Pride Month offers an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to creating welcoming, inclusive environments for patients, colleagues, and future dental professionals. By embracing diversity and treating every individual with respect and compassion, we help build a stronger profession and healthier communities.

SKCDS is proud to support a dental community where all patients feel valued, all voices are heard, and quality oral health care is accessible to all.
