The United State is a litigious society and employers are frequently the targets of workplace lawsuits. Such things as workplace injuries, sexual harassment, discrimination and wrongful termination can burden your practice and take the focus off your real job – serving your patients. This lecture, “Top 15 Mistakes Employers Make that Lead to Litigation,” is a 90 minute review of the most common ways in which employers create risk and leave themselves vulnerable to claims and lawsuits by current and former employees. Participants will learn how to avoid these mistakes and improve the way they manage their work force.
